We first met Daniel Benoit during a Parade of Homes in Lafayette.
My wife and I were very impressed with the design and color selection inside his Acadian Best home. I asked Daniel if he could build the exact same house, same colors, same everything, on a lot I selected. He was very cordial and said, “Absolutely.”
Being a civil engineer, I prepared a spreadsheet indicating the cost of the house and changes from the base home, line by line, including additions and deductions. Our negotiations for the final price of the house were extremely fruitful, fair and efficient using this method.
We actually monitored the house’s progress through email; Daniel indicated this was the first time this had occurred. It also helped that we built our house across the street from where we lived at the time, so we saw the construction every day.
The house was completed in a timely manner and we have been in our home for over two years and are extremely satisfied with the quality of the home. Daniel has always been forth right in his responsibilities and follow up in the home’s construction.
The quality of the end product was excellent and the price per square foot was well below other homes we had looked at during our journey to build a new home. Daniel always came through whenever there was an issue or discussion about the home.
I would highly recommend Daniel Benoit, Acadiana’s Best, and his crew, if you are considering building your own home or purchasing a home he has constructed.
It’s been a great experience and I would do it again with Daniel.

Dear Daniel,
Greg and I bought this book "Buying a New Home" to help us shop for a quality
home. I hope this book helps someone else to also make such a decision. Dealing with
ACADIANA'S BEST has been very rewarding and great fun! Thank you so much for
